For Volunteers

Here at Fusion, we recognize God has called all of us to use our diverse gifts and talents to make a difference in the world around us. We also know that it is impossible for the staff @ Fusion to make things happen without help from faithful servants who volunteer their time to minister to our teens. There are so many possibilities for you to use your talents here at Fusion.

We need and welcome your help!!! Good at something not on the list? We need you, too, and may not even know it yet. Check out the list of opportunities and let us know how you think you can help. Once you’ve let us know your interest, we’ll call you in for a brief consultation, run a background check to insure the safety of our teens and then get you plugged in accordingly.

Fusion Worship

Fusion Worship ( also known as "The Gathering") occurs every Sunday evening at 6:00pm in the Student MInistries Room. This worship time is meant to be spiritual and meaningful to our youth. But to make this happen, there are a lot of areas to cover... Ice-breakers & games, music, offering, service planning, drama, and sponsors. The goal is to have this be a time where students can be with friends, have fun, and experience God's love... and want to come back month after month. No small task for any ministry. Prayer
This team will be the backbone of everything we do here at Fusion. Members of this team will provide prayer support for every area of our Fusion Ministry.  Karen Lombardo is the coordinator for our Prayer ministry. Feel free to email Karen if you are interested in being part of this area of Fusion.

Tech & Media
This ministry will be one of the most crucial to the growth and development of Fusion. Members of this team will help with all facets of media such as: shooting and editing video, running Easy Worship (Power Point on steroids), running sound, lighting, updating the website, creating graphics, etc… Email Pastor Tim if you want to sign up or get more information on this area of ministry.

Teaching
There are several areas of teaching in Fusion: Jr. High Sunday school, Sr. High Sunday school, and Confirmation. Sunday school Teachers will be responsible for preparing and teaching a weekly Bible Lesson during the school year.  Teachers will have help in selecting curriculum with Pastor Tim.  Confirmation has a set curriculum, so anyone interested in helping out in confirmation will be assisting Pastor Tim in the various topics. Time Commitment: approximetly 1-2 hours preparation during the week and 1 hour on Sunday

Small Groups
Small groups are a discipleship ministry at Fusion. They consist of teens that meet together throughout the week for fellowship, fun and spiritual growth. Small groups have a two-fold purpose: Attract new teenagers to our youth ministry and to encourage spiritual growth within our youth ministry. These groups will meet on a day/time most convenient to the students in each group. If this is an area you would like to be part of... email Adam Christ.

Missions
Community Outreach (Impact Teams) is our outreach focused service projects here at Fusion. Such projects include: raking leaves, painting, handing out hot chocolate, and much more. This ministry will also include mission plans for trips regionally, nationally, and eventually internationally. Jeff Seeds is the coordinator of this area of fusion and would love to hear from you. Gathering: Every 3rd Saturday of the month

Time Commitment: 3 hours per month

Coffee House
Senior High Coffee House is held at 11:00a each Sunday morning in the Student Ministries Room. This is our 'not quite typical Sunday School.' Instead, we let kids hang out and talk with friends for a little while, order up some coffee, a latte, or some other 'drink of the day.' Enjoy homemade goodies, theme foods, or other delicious items. Then after they have had time to see how everyone is doing & fill their stomachs... we will hit a topic and have some discussion. It's real issues, relative topics, and what they want to talk about.  We need volunteers to help lead, donate food, help set up, and oversee tech/presentation. Communications

We are always looking for ways to better inform students and parents about what is going on in Fusion... and let the church and community know what is going on, too!  Do you love getting the word out? Then maybe this is the area for you to help in! Just communicate your interest to Julie. We know, corny... but true.

Trips

Summer Escape, Winter Escape, Mission-oriented outings, and more. These are all part of our Trips Ministry at Fusion. There are several areas where volunteers are needed including: travel coordinator, budgeting, on-site connections, group organizer, and registration. Sports & Rec

This is a new area which we would love to see grow and reach beyond our walls. There are several areas in which you could volunteer and get this ministry up and running: Outings, Games (during regular scheduled events), or Leagues. Arts

This is a new and exciting area of ministry to Fusion.  We are looking at ways to involved students who are gifted and/or interested in the arts, as well as linking our music departments existing groups such as puppets & bells with Fusion events. This is a work in progress, but will include drama, bands, choirs, and more. Interesting, huh? Get in touch with us to learn more!
